Volunteer Opportunities

As a dedicated non-profit organization, we are forever in need of wonderful volunteers to help us in our efforts. EAA can assist high school students with service learning hours.

Food Pantry
You can help distribute food on pantry day, attend our work outings to the food depository where we have a lot of fun and receive credit for the hours worked, attend the “Hunger Walk” with our organization, or donate money to Greater Chicago Food Depository.

Emergency Senior Home Repair
If you have knowledge or experience with home repair, EAA could use your help. Many Senior Citizens are in need of minor home repair and whenever possible we do this free of charge. We are in need of donated materials to be used for emergency repair at senior’s homes.

Community Gardens
The nice thing with cleaning is you don’t need to be a certain age to do a good job. All we ask is that you come in comfortable clothing and bring enthusiasm. Assist EAA during the Clean and Green program in the spring and again in the fall. We clean sidewalks, abandoned lots, plant flowers, paint street posts, etc.

Office & Administrative Volunteering
Working in our office can provide a wide range of experience for those who are interested in how Non-Profit programs are managed.

Donate

We are able to support our programs and help all the beautiful people that receive our services because of donations from people like you. EAA has a 501(c) (3) status and all donations are tax deductible.
